Our school-age swimming lessons teaches a range of skills and knowledge to develop swimming, water safety, survival and basic rescue skills that can save lives. We focus on stroke development, promoting a healthy respect for the aquatic environment and a solid foundation for a range of aquatic recreation, fitness and sporting activities.
Children will learn to:
- cooperate with and respect others in an aquatic environment;
- develop and refine swimming strokes;
- make safe and sensible decisions and solve problems in and around water.

The below prices apply across all swimming levels. Payment is taken fortnightly by direct debit, with the total cost spread out across the year.

Students are entitled to unlimited pool use during the centre’s opening hours (except warm water pool) and at Baw Baw Pools. - Immediate family are able to access the pool free of charge two hours before and after the lesson time (except warm water pool).
- On non-lesson days, for students enrolled in parent / child classes, swimming lesson membership entitles one adult to accompany the child at no cost for a swim (parent and child must enter facility together).
- On non-lesson days, for students enrolled in lessons not requiring parental assistance, membership entitles one adult to accompany the child to spectate at no cost. If the adult wishes to swim, they must pay full / concession entry.

Requirements for this program
- Bring swimwear, towel, goggles (recommended but not required) and dry clothes
- Photos are allowed in the pool (never in the change room area) – please respect others' privacy and get their consent

Safety and handover requirements
To provide a safe environment for your child please:
- come to the edge of the pool at the start of the lesson and directly hand over your child to the teacher;
- watch the lesson;
- stay within viewing distance of the lesson, with no visual or physical barriers between you and the class;
- come to the edge of the pool at the end of the lesson and collect your child;
- if your child is participating in general swimming outside their lesson time and is still under five years of age, you will need to ensure you are in the water with them during this time;
- for children 10 and older, you'll need to decide if your child needs a direct handover to or collection from the teacher. Base this on their swimming ability and general development.
