Group fitness classes are a fun and interactive way to meet new people and get fit and healthy – a great workout for all ages and fitness levels.
We have a variety of different classes at Warragul Leisure Centre, from aqua classes in the water, to boxing, HIIT workouts, pilates and yoga classes. Our qualified staff can assess your fitness level and help find the right class for you. Even if you've never been to a class before, why not try something new and start living a happier, healthier lifestyle today!
Our land-based classes take place in our group fitness room, which is only open when there is a class running. Our facilities can be hired outside of class times, at an additional cost.

Group fitness classes
A low impact class providing an all over workout. This class involves some exercises utilising hand weights and a power bar. Suitable for all ages, this class is ideal for beginners. 45 minutes.
Muscle conditioning class using barbells and free weights to challenge all of your major muscle groups. No aerobics or coordination required. Warning: It will change the shape of your body! 55 minutes.
Cardio Self Defence is a pad-based class done in a similar format to Boxercise. In this class, you will learn to strike vulnerable targets with kicks, knees, elbows and punches in a medium to high intensity workout. 45 minutes.
Full Body is a sure to fire up the muscles and heart. This workout strengthens and tones the whole body, whilst improving fitness. 45 minutes.
This is a high intensity, functional fitness program designed to improve strength and conditioning in a focused, fun and social environment. Distinctly different from other types of group fitness. 45 minutes.
This classes includes dynamic mobility drills / exercises to increase range of motion and joint stability, followed by targeted stretches to help you move better and achieve more from your body. 45 minutes.
This focuses on core strengthening movements, which improves posture, flexibility and strength through the connection of mind and body awareness with breath, and easy graceful movement. Strength Pilates focuses on strength and stability and Stretch Pilates focuses on flexibility and mobility. 45 minutes.
This class focuses on performing functional exercises that focus on strength, coordination, endurance, cardio and balance. A fun class that’s suitable for all. 45 minutes.
This is indoor cycling. Ride to inspirational music over varied terrain, controlling the intensity of your workout with a resistance dial and pedal speed. 45 minutes.
This consists of gentle, free flowing movements that focuses on flexibility, breathing, balance, co-ordination and stress relief. Suitable for any age and ability. 45 minutes.
Aqua Movers is designed for our senior members and guests. This is a gentle aqua workout, set in a fun social environment. If you are looking to improve fitness, mobility, flexibility or strength this is the class for you. Classes are conducted in the 25m pool. 45 minutes.
Aqua Bootcamp is a fun and energised, high intensity class using the resistance of the water and equipment to help you reach your fitness goals. No swimming skills required. Held in our outdoor 50m pool. 45 minutes.
Gentle Warm Movers combines Tai Chi and Yoga to bring mind body flow to a water workout. A great way to stretch and tone. Low impact and suitable for all fitness levels. 45 minutes.
Warm Movers is suitable for those with chronic illness or injury. Held in the warm water this class is suitable for those wanting to improve mobility. 45 minutes.
- Arrive five minutes prior to classes to collect a ticket and set up for class.
- Please let the instructor know if you have any injuries, pre-existing or current, or if you're pregnant.
- Please bring a drink bottle and towel with you to every class.
- Please wear appropriate clothing to class. This could be swimwear, activewear and runners.
- The group fitness room is only open when there is a class going on. This facility can be hired at an additional cost outside of class times.
